Sony World Photography Awards

300 horses, a handful of headless goats and 1 Sony World Photography Award! My ‘Buzkashi’ project just won 1st Place in the Sport category in the Awards Professional competition.

The project has been shot over two years (and counting) of chaos, dust, Somme-esque levels of mud, and the occasional unplanned close encounter with a horses ass and food poisoning (thankfully not at the same time).
